"The judge will stop the fight". Chisora says what will happen in the Usyk-Fury fight
Famous British heavyweight Derek Chisora (34-14, 23 KOs) made his prediction for the fight between WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF titleholder Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) and WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs). The first-ever heavyweight boxing match for the absolute championship of the four-belt era will take place on May 18.
Chisora is confident that the Ukrainian will win this fight, using a very specific tactic.
I see Usyk winning the fight because Oleksandr will be aiming for the same spot. He will hit with the same jab, exactly where the cut was. Somewhere in the eighth, ninth, or tenth round, I think the judge will stop the fight, awarding the victory to the Ukrainian. The reason: Fury's eye will be cut," TalkSport quoted Chisora as saying.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, the Usyk-Fury fight was originally scheduled for February 17, but Fury suffered a serious cut on February 2 during training. Because of this, the fight was officially post poned to the spring of 2024.
