The first footage from the scandalous movie Rust, directed by Joel Souza and starring actor Alec Baldwin, has been posted online. Some of them are shot by the cameraman Halyna Hutchins, a Ukrainian who died during the filming process.
This was reported by Deadline. Hutchins was killed in the fall of 2021 due to careless behavior with props: Alex Baldwin fired a revolver pistol loaded with live ammunition, fatally wounding the cameraman.
Filming resumed in the spring of 2023, and the Ukrainian actress was replaced by actress Bianca Cline.
The film revolves around a 13-year-old boy who is left to fend for himself after the death of his parents in the 1880s. The teenager is sentenced to death for the unintentional murder of a local rancher. His grandfather, the legendary outlaw Harland Rust, embarks on a journey across Mexico to rescue his grandson.
