The boxer who can "dethrone Usyk" is named

Maksym InshakovNews
The famous coach made a frank confession

The famous Scottish trainer Billy Nelson believes that his trainee Martin Bakole (21-1, 16 KOs) is the most serious threat to the absolute world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. According to Nelson, the 31-year-old Congolese has all the skills and power to knock out the Ukrainian champion.

Usyk confirmed his superiority over Fury in a tense rematch for the world title. The Ukrainian retained his championship belts.

"Giving one of the boxers four rounds in this fight is unfair to the other. But I'm sure Martin has all the skills and abilities to dethrone Usyk," Nelson said in an interview with Sky Sports.

Bakole scored an impressive victory in August, knocking out Jared Anderson in the fifth round and knocking him down three times. The trainer emphasizes that Martin has unique qualities allowing him to close the distance quickly and put his opponents in difficult situations.

"I haven't seen anything like that in Usyk's fights with Tyson. Oleksandr and his team know that Martin is very dangerous. They have sparred many times, including in Ukraine and Dubai," the coach added.

Bakole recently got a fight against Nigerian Efe Ajagba, which will determine the mandatory challenger for the IBF heavyweight title held by Daniel Dubois.

"I'm sure Usyk knows how dangerous Martin is, he's probably the most formidable opponent. Dubois also wants a rematch with Usyk, but to be honest, no one expects it because their first fight was a complete domination. Usyk won all the rounds, even if you don't count the controversial punch below the belt, which the judge immediately considered a foul. Dubois was defeated, knocked down twice, and essentially surrendered. The best contender for Usyk is Martin Bakole. I am convinced, and Martin himself is sure, that he will be able to knock him out," the coach summarized.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the night of Sunday, December 22, WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBO champion Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury again and defended his titles. The seventh fight of the Ukrainian in the super-heavyweight division ended with a victory on points 116:112, 116:112, 116:112.

Immediately after the fight, impressive punch statistics and referee notes were published. It also became known who the artificial intelligence judge gave the victory to.
