Boxing fans continue to admire the dominance of unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) after his two victories over Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs). Sports fans do not yet know who the Ukrainian will fight next, and therefore compare him to the boxers of the past in their best form.

In particular, on the popular Boxing Forum 24 forum, one of the users suggested that other boxing fans determine the winner in the confrontation between Usyk and Russian Alexander Povetkin. The answers to this question showed that the fans had no doubt that the Ukrainian would win.

"Usyk is head and shoulders above Povetkin right now", "Usyk will beat Povetkin, just like he would beat guys like Pulev, Takam, and a whole generation of contenders", "Usyk wins confidently even if Povetkin was in top form", "Definitely Usyk. By unanimous decision. Usyk is another level", "It would not have worked. Povetkin is too limited to give Usyk problems, more than in a couple of rounds. A clean sweep", "Povetkin is a stylistically difficult opponent for Usyk. Great fight," the comments read.

The day before, there was information about Usyk's unexpected heavyweight opponent. The Ukrainian has already been challenged by Daniel Dubois, the holder of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) heavyweight belt.

The Briton is looking forward to a rematch with our compatriot after his defeat in August 2023. Back then, Oleksandr defeated his opponent by TKO in the ninth round, and the Londoner scored with a dirty punch below the belt.

Earlier it became known that Usyk may give up one of the championship belts to return to the ring of the legendary Wladimir Klitschko (64-5-0-1, 54 KOs).
