Potato patties is a dish that will always save the day when you run out of dinner ideas. They are quite easy to prepare, and the most time-consuming part of the process is boiling the potatoes. However, potato patties can also be made from yesterday's mashed potatoes.
A food blogger with the nickname mariiam_foodblog showed on Instagram how she makes potato patties. The cook also shared a recipe for the filling that, in her opinion, best suits this dish.
Ingredients for the dough
- Mashed potatoes - 700 g
- Eggs - 2 pcs
- Flour - 4 tbsp
- Oil - 50 ml
Ingredients for the filling
- Eggs - 3-4 pcs
- Onion - 1 pc
- Dill
- Pepper
Method of preparation
1. Add all the ingredients to the cooled mashed potatoes and mix thoroughly.
2. Prepare the filling. Boil the eggs until cooked. Fry the onion in a frying pan. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl.
3. Form the patties and fry in a frying pan with vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown.
