Oxen Lisovyi named the best universities by the number of applications for the budget: who got into the rating

Lviv Polytechnic National University, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv were the leaders among the educational institutions to which students applied for the budget in 2023. This information was announced by Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Oksen Lisovyi.

The head of the education ministry said on Facebook that Ukrainian universities have received more than 470,000 requests for free education from future bachelors and masters of medical, veterinary, and pharmaceutical fields. Among them are the educational institutions that received the largest number of applications.

10 educational institutions by the number of applications with an open competitive offer:

• Lviv Polytechnic National University
• NTUU "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute"
• Ivan Franko National University of Lviv
• Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv
• National Aviation University
• Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University
• State University of Trade and Economics
• Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University
• National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine
• Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University

The following universities were awarded a fixed bid:

• Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University
• Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts
• Lviv National Academy of Arts
• Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture
• Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytsky University of Management and Law
• Kyiv National University of Technology and Design
• Lviv Polytechnic National University
• Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts
• National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine
• Kremenets Taras Shevchenko Regional Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy

The head of the Ministry of Education added that the ranking was based on two competitive proposals - open and competitive. According to the first one, the number of places is determined not immediately, but after the applicants receive their scores and choose an educational institution. In the second case, the number of places is determined by the state or region.
