Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) may allegedly be disqualified and suspended from his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs), which is scheduled for December 21. The World Boxing Council (WBC) could impose sanctions on the Gypsy King, as the Briton is called, because of the athlete's appearance.
This was reported by the Sport Bible portal, whose information was picked up by some Ukrainian media. In particular, it is claimed that Fury could be removed from the fight because he grew a beard before the second fight against Usyk, which allegedly contradicts the rules of conducting fights under the auspices of the WBC.

But these rules have nothing to do with professional fights. In the WBC championship fights, clause 6 explicitly states that boxers have the right to wear a beard if it does not soften blows or cause cuts to the opponent. Therefore, Tyson does not face disqualification.
