Keira Knightley in the title role: Netflix to release film adaptation of Ruth Weah's popular book

The popular novel by Ruth Weah, the author of psychological detectives and thrillers, will soon be released on Netflix, and the main role will be played by actress Keira Knightley. Ruth Weah's novels have been translated into more than 40 languages and have become bestsellers according to the Sunday Times and the New York Times.

"The Woman in Cabin 10"  is an unpredictable and incredibly atmospheric detective story, so film critics are already placing high bets on the film adaptation. The first details about the movie were released on Netflix.

Ruth Weah is called a modern-day Agatha Christie, and her books are consistently bestsellers. A number of Ruth Weah's novels have been translated into Ukrainian, including , The Turn of the Key, That Girl, One by One, The Game of Lies, and The Death of Mrs. Westway.

The film, based on the bestselling novel The Woman in Cabin 10, is directed by Simon Stone. The lead role will be played by popular British actress Keira Knightley.

In the book, travel journalist Laura Blacklock embarks on a dream business trip - she will spend a whole week on a luxury liner, enjoying not only the clean air of the North Sea, but also the refined company. Rich and influential people are invited to the ship.

At night, Laura hears a splash as if a body had fallen overboard. Immediately going out to the balcony, she notices a blood-like stain on the fence of the neighboring cabin, which suddenly disappeared in a few minutes.

Laura immediately calls security. Law enforcement officials promise to investigate the case. In the morning, however, the night's events seem like a bad dream - all the staff is there, all the guests are happy and joyful, and no one but Laura has seen the mysterious woman from the neighboring cabin.

The plot keeps you in suspense as the ship moves further and further out to sea, and Laura tries to prove to herself and everyone around her that she is not crazy and the murder really happened..
