"It's impossible!" Usyk's victory over Fury was "taken away"

Frank Warren believes that the Briton was stronger in the rematch

Frank Warren, the promoter of British super heavyweight Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs), disagrees that Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) won the rematch with his client. Warren said that Fury celebrated the victory in the second fight. In fact, all three judges - Gerardo Martinez, Patrick Morley and Ignacio Robles - scored the fight 116-112 in favor of the Ukrainian.

Despite the same result, it is worth noting that the judges could not agree on six of the 12 rounds. The only rounds in which they agreed were the fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, tenth and eleventh. Warren admitted that the fight was more even than he initially thought.

"I still think Tyson won. It was a closer fight than I thought at first, but after watching it, I'm still sure he won. A lot of experienced people in the sport, and I myself, having 47 years of experience and having led many champions to the top, do not understand how one of the judges did not give Tyson any of the last seven rounds. - The British official said in an interview with talkSPORT.

Warren is impressed with the referee's performance.

"I watched the fight and the other two judges still gave him one round each. But how could one of them not give him anything? The fight was close, just like the first one. I expected Tyson to knock Usyk out this time, but it didn't happen," the outraged promoter said.

Warren was particularly harsh immediately after the fight, saying that Fury had clearly won and should have regained the heavyweight title.

"This is insane," he said.

Usyk landed more punches than Fury, winning by this indicator as well

"Did he really win only four rounds out of eight? That's too harsh. I don't understand it. But it is what it is, and let's see what the future holds for Tyson. Tyson was stunned. He was given only four rounds out of 12, which is impossible. One judge didn't give him a single round from the sixth. one round in the last six. It's just ridiculous. I'm taking it in stride, I'm not yelling or cursing, but it's complete nonsense," Warren summarized.

We would like to remind you that on the night of Sunday, December 22, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury for the second time and defended his titles. The seventh fight of the Ukrainian in the super-heavyweight division ended with a victory on points 116:112, 116:112, 116:112.

When the Ukrainian was announced the winner, Fury's wife's reaction was caught on camera. In addition, the fight was featured in a famous cartoon. And in Russia, they started spreading fake words about Volodymyr Zelensky. The Ukrainian was suspended from boxing.

A few days later, the video of the fight was blocked following a complaint from the European Football Union (UEFA), which claimed that it violated copyright law.

In addition, there are theories as to why Usyk wore an upside-down Ukrainian flag in his rematch with Fury.

It should be noted that immediately after the fight, a video appeared of what Fury wrote on the flag of Ukraine after his defeat by Usyk.
