First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska welcomed her colleague, First Gentleman of Denmark Bo Tengberg, the husband of current Danish President Mette Frederiksen, to Kyiv. For the meeting, the wife of the Ukrainian guarantor once again chose a symbolic piece of jewelry. This time it was a rare vintage brooch in the form of a flower bud in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
More details about the unique piece were shared on the Nº1 VINTAGE Instagram page. The post states that Zelenska was wearing a brooch from Lanvin Paris, one of the oldest existing French haute couture houses.
In general, the first lady wore a restrained spring look in dark colors. She chose a cropped wide coat in a deep navy blue shade with massive buttons, as well as black trousers and comfortable low-cut boots. A light scarf tied around her neck added lightness and color to the outfit.

The brooch became the main decoration of the image, adding not only sophistication or elegance but also symbolism. It looked like a blue flower with a golden stem and wide leaves.

They also noted that the jewelry is adorned with a glass paste necklace in the Jeanne-Marie Lanvin shade - bleu nuit. It was made by Henkel & Grosse craftsmen in the famous German jewelry city of Pforzheim in the 70s of the last century.
