"I don't believe he can beat Oleksandr. The odds are not looking great": Derek Chisora trashes Fury before Usyk rematch

Chisora speaks out on Usyk-Fury rematch

British veteran Derek Chisora (35-13, 23 KOs) does not believe that his compatriot Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) will be able to take revenge on Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) on December 21. The former intercontinental world champion noted that the Gypsy King made a mistake in selecting sparring partners to prepare for the second fight against the Ukrainian.

Chisora said this in an interview with Secondsout, boxingnews24.com reports. According to the 40-year-old heavyweight, the boxers in Fury's training camp are simply unable to reach Usyk's skills. In addition, they openly humiliate themselves in front of Tyson just to please him.

"Do I believe Tyson can beat Oleksandr? I look at the way he’s going in sparring camp. I don’t personally believe that with the sparring partners he’s got right now that they’re pushing him to be a menace. They’re in awe of Tyson. What I’m seeing that Oleksandr is doing it completely different. He knows he can hurt him now, so he’s going to come and try and hurt him. He keeps saying that he won’t leave him alone. I would love Tyson to win, but right now, those odds are not looking great," Chisora said.

In the first fight, Oleksandr defeated Tyson by split decision - 114:113, 113:114, 115:112 - and became the absolute super-heavyweight champion.
