How much money has Ukraine received from the United States

Ukraine has received $100 billion in aid from the United States of America (USA), and the total cost of the war is $320 billion. Support from international partners, including Europe, amounted to about $100 billion.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the forum "Ukraine. Year 2025" forum. "Ukraine has received $100 billion in aid from the United States, not 350, not 500, not 700," Zelensky said.

The President noted that such distortions of the figures could affect the perception of the situation, so he decided to clarify. "This is important support for us. And it is very important," he emphasized, referring to the assistance coming from the United States and other countries.

The President also noted that before that, Ukraine's funding was 30% from the United States, 30% from Europe, and 40% from Ukraine. "This year, we will have more than 50%," Zelensky summarized.

Zelensky provided a clear picture of how financial resources are distributed within the framework of international support. According to him, the total cost of this war is $320 billion, of which $120 billion is the money spent by Ukraine, another $100 billion is assistance from the United States, and $100 billion is provided by European countries. In particular, Europe, together with partners such as Japan, has allocated about $15 billion.

Zelensky also mentioned the importance of support amid changes in the political situation in the United States. The President expressed hope that the assistance would continue to flow, despite some slowdown in the US government due to political factors. "I really want understanding from all parties, and it should be mutual understanding," Zelensky said.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Poland must return 91 million euros to the EU (European Union), which were allocated for the purchase of generators for Ukraine due to embezzlement. The European Commission will make a legal decision on the return of this money no earlier than 2026.
