"How do you fight this avatar?": Usyk's confession before the fight with Fury

WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) spoke about the importance of character before the fight with WBC champion Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs). As an example, Usyk quoted American General Norman Schwarzkopf, who said, "Leadership is a potent combination of strategy and character. But if you must be without one, be without the strategy".
On September 29, Usyk and Fury signed a contract for a fight for the title of absolute world champion. According to unofficial reports, the fight may take place before the New Year or in January.
"We are now working on organizing a fight with Fury. And I'm thinking, "How to fight this avatar? How do I win it? When I'm running a 20 km cross-country race, my second self comes up to me and says, 'Sasha, don't run, you're a world champion.' It says with a gentle voice, 'Brother, take a rest. You already have money. Why do you need it? Relax.' And I reply, 'No, brother, I don't know you at all.' And it was like that all my life," Luckypunch quoted Usyk as saying.
As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, the famous British boxing coach Dave Caldwell predicted who would win in a Usyk-Fury fight. According to the expert, the anthropometry of the fighters will be a critical factor in the fight.
The legendary Mike Tyson voiced his forecast for the fight of the year. Iron Mike thinks that Fury will beat Usyk.
Fury's promoter Bob Arum said that his fighter would receive a 9-figure sum for the fight with the Ukrainian.
Earlier, Fury made a radically new statement about the fight with Usyk. Before that, insider Mike Coppinger said that promoters were optimistic about the chances of organizing a fight between the Ukrainian and the Briton.
