"He's a fool. For people to think so": Usyk reveals Fury's deception
Former absolute world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usik (22-0, 14 KOs) praised Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs), with whom he is preparing to rematch. The Ukrainian boxer urged fans not to pay attention to the behavior of the Gypsy King, as the Briton is called, outside the ring and his antics during fights.
Usyk said this in an interview with NV.ua. According to the 37-year-old Ukrainian, his first fight against Fury turned out to be extremely difficult. He added that Tyson tries to confuse his opponents with his behavior, but this trick did not work with him.
"He is an incredible opponent. Tyson Fury behaves the way he does, and most people think: "Well, he's a bit of a cocky guy, a bit of a fool". But he does it so that people think so. And people think so. But I don't. I know that he's fine with his physical condition, with his strength, with the psychological work he does on his opponent. He's a very smart heavyweight," said Wusik.
