Jones spoke about the second fight between Usyk and Fury

Legendary American boxer Roy Jones Jr. has warned Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) against being complacent before his rematch with Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs). The former world champion in four weight categories emphasized that the Ukrainian should forget about how he almost knocked out his opponent in the first fight and not take his victory into account at all.

Jones Jr. said this in an interview with the talkSPORT Boxing YouTube channel. According to the American, who is a fan of Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin and holds a Russian passport, Fury will be completely different in the rematch, and therefore Usyk needs to be at his best again.

"You know, I like Tyson Fury in rematches. Because he knows how to make adjustments to his work. But he knows how to do it in fights with ordinary fighters. And Usyk is not like that. He knows everything he needs to do. He's a technician, but he'll lose if he thinks he's beaten him once, so it'll be easier to do now. Fury will come out to get his back. He will be different, believe me," Jones said.

On October 23, Usyk and Fury had their first duel of looks before the second fight. The Ukrainian appeared in an unusual look, changing his image. In addition, he forced his opponent to take an unusual step to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Earlier it became known that Tyson wants to organize a trilogy with Oleksandr to go down in boxing history. The Briton also accused the Ukrainian of disrupting the timing of the rematch.

The legendary Wladimir Klitschko shared his expectations for the rematch between Usyk and Fury. And ex-champion Amir Khan disagreed with the forecasts for the fighters' repeat.

In turn, Russian boxing coach Andrei Ivichuk called Tyson the winner of the upcoming rematch with Alexander. And the Ukrainian himself named the only boxer he is interested in fighting after the second fight with the Briton.

In addition, Anthony Joshua answered the question of who he would like to see win the rematch between Usyk and Fury. After that, he named the winner of the rematch. Tyson himself voiced his motivation for the second fight against our compatriot.

Fury also responded to Usyk's team's comparison with dictator Vladimir Putin.
