Povetkin appreciated the fight Usyk - Fury

Former world heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin expressed confidence that the fight between Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) will be difficult for both boxers. The Russian noted that the Ukrainian and the Briton are unyielding in the ring, while the Gypsy King has a temper.

Povetkin said this in an interview with Championship.com. In particular, the 44-year-old native of Kursk recalled Fury's confrontation with American knockout artist Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs), in which the Briton found himself on the canvas four times but got up.

"Usyk will not be a gift. But Tyson Fury is unconventional, uncomfortable, and, most importantly, patient. In the fight with Wilder, he fell down, got up and boxed well after that," Povetkin said.

On November 16, a press conference was held in London to officially announce the confrontation between the Ukrainian and the Briton. After that, Usyk's team named the main difficulties Oleksandr had in preparing for the fight.

In addition, our compatriot urged journalists not to ask him about Tyson. Usyk also spoke about what he would do after defeating Fury, who recorded a video message to the Ukrainian with a promise to knock him out by the end of the fourth round.

The news from the British boxer's training camp was the worst. The legendary Evander Holyfield explained why Usyk would win the fight against Fury. In turn, the Ukrainian did not disclose his tactical plan for the fight.

Wilder missed a chance to end the fight early.

The legendary Russian champion Kostya Tszyu gave his prediction for the fight between the Ukrainian and the British. The Gypsy King himself admitted that he is not interested in the title of absolute champion. It also became known that Usyk is looking for sparring partners by advertising on the Internet.
