Absolute world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) could not immediately attend the press conference after his fight against Tyson Fury. Our compatriot was sent to a hospital with a suspected broken jaw.

Only later was the Ukrainian and his team able to take part in a traditional chat with journalists, showing what he looked an hour after the match.

According to the statistics of the fight, the British heavyweight threw 496 punches, of which 157 reached the target. At the same time, 46 of them were on the body.

After the fight, Usyk looked tired, with a few bruises on his head. There was a noticeable taped incision above his right eyebrow.

As previously reported, the Usyk-Fury fight lasted 12 rounds and ended in a split decision. Our compatriot became the first ever absolute champion in the heavyweight division in the era of four belts.

At the moment when ring announcer Michael Buffer shouted "From Ukaine!" in English when declaring the winner, Usyk lost his breath out of excitement.

Oleksandr is the third ever absolute champion in two weight categories. Before that, he held all the titles in cruiserweight.

Before the Ukrainian fighter, only Naoya Inoue and Terence Crawford had become absolute champions in two divisions.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian anthem received a standing ovation from the audience in Riyadh. The spectators in the stands of the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh enthusiastically applauded both Oleksandr and our country.
