Our titled athlete got some time to do an "important mission"

Yaroslava Maguchikh, the Paris 2024 Olympic champion in high jump, posted a short video on her Instagram showing that she had changed her biography. The 22-year-old from Dnipro added a gold medal from the French Olympics to her profile description.

"Guys, don't forget to fulfill this important mission on your pages! 😅🫶🏻🥇," Maguchikh wrote with a smile, provoking a real stir among her followers.

Users from around the world began sending heart emojis and wishes for new heights to Russia. Femke Bol, the Dutch champion of the 2024 Olympic Games in the 4x400 meter relay, also made a comment.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Maguchikh transferred UAH 1,000,000 to Ukrainian animal rights activists. In addition to UAnimals, four other animal shelters received the money.

On August 4, Maguchikh won a gold medal in the high jump at the 2024 Olympic Games. The Ukrainian athlete took first place with a result of 2.00 meters.

Another Ukrainian, Iryna Gerashchenko, came in third (195 cm), winning bronze together with Eleanor Patterson (Australia). Mykhailo Kokhan also took third place in the hammer throw tournament.

Later, an explanation of Yaroslava's actions before the victory jump at the 2024 Games appeared.
