Boxing legend says what Usyk should do after beating Fury in rematch
Legendary boxing trainer Teddy Atlas has called on Ukrainian unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) to retire. According to the American specialist, our compatriot has already proved himself in the professional ring, and after winning the rematch against Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs), he is at the top of the division.
Atlas expressed this opinion on the air of The Fight with Teddy Atlas channel, secondsout.com informs. He added that Usyk is probably not going to retire from the sport, but he has already proven his incredibly high class and superiority over other heavyweights.
"If I were Usyk, I would say I'm going off into the sunset. It would be perfect. You fought everyone, you made a lot of money, you did everything, you represented your country, and you walked off into the sunset. But it's not going to happen. For various reasons. What we do know is that he's great, he's one of the greatest. He is the world heavyweight champion," Atlas said.
