Ambulances and law enforcers converged: propagandists reported an assassination attempt on Tsarev, he does not answer calls. Video
Russian media and a lot of of Telegram channels began reporting on an "emergency" near the house of traitor Oleg Tsarev in the temporarily occupied Yalta. On the night of October 27, law enforcement cars and ambulances began to arrive at his house, and he did not answer the phone since the night before.
Propagandists said that Tsarov was found in his own home with injuries. Later, the FSB officially announced the assassination attempt.
"Eyewitnesses say that around midnight, law enforcement cars and ambulances began to arrive at the Kirov sanatorium, where Tsarov's home is located," wrote one of the Russian propaganda outlets, not forgetting to remind about the criminal cases against Tsarev in Ukraine and that "he was repeatedly threatened by Banderites."
Pro-Russian blogger Anatoliy Shariy reported that Tsarov had not been answering calls from his friends since the night before.
A few hours after the information about the nighttime incident appeared, the Russian Federal Security Service also announced an attempt on Tsarov's life.
"A case of attempted assassination of a statesman has been opened over the assassination attempt on Oleh Tsarov, the FSB reports. Urgent operational and investigative measures and investigative actions are underway, the agency noted," the Kremlin media quoted the statement as saying.
A video filmed in the morning by eyewitnesses was also posted online, showing ambulances and police cars near Tsarov's house. The area was cordoned off, and outsiders were treated aggressively.
Meanwhile, former Ukrainian journalist Oleksandr Chalenko, who betrayed Ukraine and fled to Russia, said that Tsarov was found in his own home with stab wounds.
"Oleh Tsarov was attacked. "He was cut," one of his employees told me. Nothing else is known yet," he said.
Instead, the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, referring to the Ukrainian resistance in Crimea, said that Tsarov was wounded by firearms.
"About Tsarov. From the #OurEyesEverywhere they say that he was not stabbed, but wounded by a gunshot. His condition is still unknown, but his prospects are good. At least, pleasant," he said .
In Ukraine, opinions on what happened are divided. For example, journalist Denis Kazansky suspected that Tsarev was the victim of a domestic crime at night.
"Chalenko reports that Tsarov was 'cut' in his own home. There is no official information yet. So, it was definitely a domestic crime. Apparently, it was some kind of drunken quarrel that they tried to hide," Kazansky commented on Chalenko's message.
Meanwhile, MP Oleksiy Honcharenko notes that Tsarov's place of residence was "Polishynel's secret." Therefore, if someone wanted to eliminate him, it would be as easy as possible to find the traitor.
"As for Tsarov, everyone knows that he fled to the occupied Crimea and has been living in Yalta for a long time, where he owns a Kirov sanatorium. By the way, sometime in 2019, Aksyonov tried to squeeze him out and sell other sanatoriums in Alushta that were rented by Tsarov's company. That is, where Tsarov lived, where he went, what he did - this is quite well-known information, and everyone in Yalta knew about it. And, I think, not only there," the MP noted.
At the same time, the administrator of the Russian Telegram channel "To be or not to be..." suggested that those interested in Tsarev's ouster are in Russia.
"Tsarov is an example of collaborators who never become 'their own' for the Kremlin. They are used for their own purposes and then thrown into the trash when they are no longer needed. For the Kremlin, they remain second-class citizens," the statement said.
The author of the channel recalled that in December 2022, Solovyov directly threatened the former Ukrainian MP on his air.
"Oleh, don't play games between Russian law enforcement agencies, because they will agree with each other, and those who are caught between them may turn into dust, into dust," the Kremlin's top propagandist said at the time.
This was his response to Tsarov's criticism of the Russian command and the "successes" of the occupation army on the battlefield in Ukraine.
"So he had a lot of enemies, in particular among those for whom Tsarov never became "his own," summarizes "To be or not to be..."
According to Goncharenko, doctors assessed Tsarev's condition after the nighttime incident as serious.
"Tsarov is in a serious condition in the hospital, we are keeping our fingers crossed that he will not leave us... Tsarov was shot, not cut. He is in intensive care," he wrote.
Later, this information was confirmed by collaborator Volodymyr Rogov from Zaporizhzhia region.
Later, a message that Tsarov had been shot appeared on the Telegram channel.
"The information about the attempted assassination of Oleh Tsarov is confirmed by his family. Around midnight, on the territory of the sanatorium where he lives, he was shot twice. There is no information about the perpetrator, security forces are working. By the time the ambulance arrived, Oleh was unconscious and suffering from heavy blood loss. There is no information about his health condition at the moment. So far, this is all the information we have," the publication says.
The Russian Telegram channel Cheka-OGPU noticed a number of strange circumstances in the situation with the attempted murder of Tsarev.
"An ambulance was not called to the scene; no such patient was admitted to medical institutions through the local Ministry of Health; the local ICR and the Ministry of Internal Affairs were not called or involved. Either this is a very secretive assassination attempt. Or it is a staging," the message says.
The source said that even the local security forces have no confirmed information about Tsarev's condition and the circumstances of the incident.
"According to the source, the former Ukrainian MP is not in any local hospital (including in Livadia, where a patient with gunshot wounds was reported to be). Neither the healthcare sector (Yalta ambulances did not go to Tsarev or on similar occasions), nor the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Moreover, even the Investigative Committee does not have a picture of the events. According to information from the republican department, the situation is fully controlled by the FSB, and they do not share "classified" information with investigators," the publicist writes.
The report also states that all the information available to the Investigative Committee in Crimea was obtained from the media and social networks.
"This may be the case if the situation with Oleh Tsarov is staged or an operational combination. According to preliminary data, the son and daughter of the assassination attempt victim are in Moscow. They do not answer calls even from close people," the Cheka-OGPU writes.
As a reminder, former Party of Regions member Oleh Tsarov defected to Russia at the beginning of the Russian aggression in 2014. According to the Kremlin's plan, he was supposed to lead the so-called "Novorossiya" - the name given by Kremlin ideologues to the regions in eastern and southern Ukraine that the aggressor state wanted to capture.
When the Novorossiya project was closed due to Russia's inability to occupy anything other than parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Tsarev occasionally appeared on Russian TV channels, but he was no longer directly involved in the functioning of the so-called "people's republics."
When the Russian Federation launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Tsarov "appeared" in the occupied part of Kyiv region. The media reported that the Kremlin planned to appoint him as a governor of the border region.
Earlier it was reported that a few months ago, lists of Russian "hurray patriots" against whom repressions are being prepared in Russia were leaked online. Along with the former ORDLO leader Igor Girkin, traitor Tatiana Montyan and Russian "writer" Yegor Prilepin, Tsarev was also on the list.
