Letsile Tebogo from Botswana has become a real hero of the Olympics in Paris. The 21-year-old native of Kanye won the 200-meter dash with a time of 19.46, winning gold at the 2024 Games.

During the race, he fought with Kenneth Bednarek from the United States, but was able to cross the finish line first. Noah Lyles of the United States came in third.

This gold medal was the first in Botswana's history. Upon arrival home, Tebogo received a fantastic reception. Half the city gathered at the stadium to honor the athlete.
