Terrorist attacks against TCR workers and police officers are taking place in Ukraine as part of a targeted attack by the Russian Federation's special services. Ivan Vyhivskyi, Colonel and Head of the National Police of Ukraine, said that nine such incidents have occurred this year alone.

This was discussed at a briefing on Wednesday, February 5, an OBOZ.UA correspondent reports. "There have been several terrorist attacks against TCR employees and police officers in Ukraine. This year alone, we have 9 cases," Vyhivskyi said.

One of the most dangerous was an explosion in Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi region when a person with a bag tried to deliver a "parcel" at a TCR checkpoint, but a bomb exploded. Four people were injured and the perpetrator was killed.

According to the head of the National Police, out of nine terrorist acts, three were aimed at attempts on the lives of police officers.

Another dangerous trend is the use of false calls to the 102 line by criminals. They report alleged crimes on premises where explosives have been planted. This is part of the overall strategy of the Russian special services, which aims to destabilize the situation in the country and cause distrust in the security forces.

"We clearly understand that this is an attack by the Russian special services to destabilize the situation and create a negative attitude towards the security and defense forces. As for all the facts that have been committed this year, the perpetrators have been identified, detained and detention has been chosen as a preventive measure," emphasized Vyhivskyi.

Vyhivskyi emphasized that the enemy is actively recruiting teenagers and vulnerable people to commit these acts of terror.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on February 2, an explosion occurred near the building of the TCR and SS in Pavlohrad, Dnipro region. A 24-year-old soldier was injured.

In addition, on February 1 in the evening, an explosion also occurred near the TCR building in Rivne. One person was killed and six were injured. The police are establishing the details of the incident.

In the summer, an unknown person threw a grenade at the facade of a building in Busk, Lviv region, near the TCR and SS, and fled the scene. As a result, the building was damaged, but there were no casualties.
