Ivan Vygivsky is a colonel, the head of the Kiev police.
Vygivsky was born on March 26, 1980 in Zhytomyr region.
Since 1999, he has been working in the internal affairs bodies. He began as an investigator for the Ochakivsky City District Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region.
In 2003, he graduated from the National University of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
In 2015-2016 he worked as the head of the Ochakovsky police department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region. Since 2016, he also received the post of deputy head of the Main Directorate - head of the Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Investigation Department.
In February 2020 he was appointed head of the GUNP in Poltava region.
In August 2021, he was appointed head of the GUNP in Kiev after the resignation of Andriy Kryschenko.
Vygivsky is married, has a daughter.
In his 2020 declaration, Vygivsky indicated that he owns a 2015 Volkswagen Touareg car. His spouse also owns a 2014 Volkswagen Golf.
The family has apartments in Poltava and Ochakov, as well as two land plots - in the settlements of Balovnoe and Kutsurub, Nikolaev region.
