Ukrainian children deported by Russia have been found in Germany: details have emerged
Ukrainian law enforcement officers, with the assistance of their German colleagues, have established the whereabouts of 161 Ukrainian children abducted by Russia in Germany. They were wanted as forcibly transferred to the temporarily occupied territories or deported to Russia and Belarus.
This was announced by the head of the National Police of Ukraine Ivan Vyhivsky during a meeting in Berlin with the president of the German Federal Criminal Police Office Holger Münch, the NPU said on Facebook. He stressed that Kyiv counts on further assistance from its partners in bringing Russian war criminals to justice.
The head of the National Police expressed interest in joint actions with German partners both bilaterally and under the auspices of Europol.
Medusa investigators reported that the Russian authorities are developing a system of "re-education" and digital control over children illegally taken from Ukraine to Russia after the start of the large-scale invasion. Among other things, the occupiers convince little Ukrainians that their parents are dead.
The "re-education" program is aimed at indoctrinating Ukrainian children and convincing them that they will not return to their native land.
