WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight titles holder Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) has announced that his side has fulfilled all the necessary contractual obligations for his fight with WBC champion Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs). The Ukrainian posted a tweet in which he wrote that all the points had been sent to the Briton for approval.

Usyk also added that the deadlines have been set and "the clock is ticking".

"We have done everything in our power to make the fight happen," Oleksandr wrote.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, on March 10, Fury delivered a tough ultimatum to Usyk's team. The Manchester-born fighter demanded 70% of the fee for the fight and also said he would add one per cent for each day until the contract was signed.

Oleksandr immediately agreed to the Briton's terms, making a pro-Ukrainian demand.

In response, Tyson came up with a new demand, suggesting that our compatriot exclude the rematch clause from the contract for the fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion.

Following this, British boxing fans massively criticised their compatriot for delaying negotiations on the organisation of the fight between Usyk and Fury.

Oleksandr Usyk's manager Egis Klimas said that his fighter would take part in the fight on April 29 in any case. If Fury refuses, it will be a mandatory defence.
