Usyk vs Fury: bookmakers changed their bets on the favourite superfight

Oleksandr ChekanovLife
Usyk and Fury agreed to fight

British boxer Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) remains the favourite to win the world title against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs). At the same time, analysts have slightly reduced the chances of the Gypsy King winning the fight, which is due to take place in the spring.

Despite the fact that the boxing night featuring the winners of all the division's championship belts has not yet been officially announced, bookmakers continue to actively accept bets on it. Over the past week, they have significantly changed the odds on the winner of the fight.

Thus, Fury's victory is now offered at 1.44, although a few days ago the British triumph was estimated at 1.36. The odds on the success of the Ukrainian unified champion dropped from 3.00 to 2.75.

The odds on a draw remain unchanged. You can bet on this outcome at odds of 19.00.

It will be recalled that the day before, Fury's promoter Bob Arum said that the boxers had agreed to hold the fight.

On December 3, Tyson defeated his compatriot Dereck Chisora, after which he called Usyk to the ring. The Gypsy King said a lot of insults to him. The Ukrainian, as always, reacted to his opponent's trick in an original way. In addition, for the first time, he admitted why he came to the ring with the Briton.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Oleksandr Usyk answered the question whether his fight with Tyson Fury would be the last in his career. In addition, the Ukrainian boxer admitted that not many people are betting on his victory in the fight, which, on the contrary, adds additional motivation.
