Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and Briton Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) may fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion this summer. After the breakdown of negotiations on the organisation of the show on April 29, the team of the Gypsy King, as the Manchester native is called, started talking about a new date for the fight.

Fury's promoter Frank Warren named two possible options for his client's fight against the Ukrainian, SportBible writes. He noted that a lot will depend on the position of Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs), who is a mandatory contender for the Ukrainian's belt according to the World Boxing Association (WBA).

"If Usyk remains unbeaten, then there is a chance to return to this fight and make it in Saudi Arabia. Another option is if Dubois steps aside. Then we could organise a fight in July," Warren said. It should be borne in mind that the 25-year-old Dubois has a contract with Warren's promotional company, and in his last fight on December 3, he suffered an ankle cruciate ligament injury.

Recall that this is the first time Oleksandr Usyk has publicly commented on the cancellation of the fight with Fury. After the news about the cancellation of the fight with Tyson, our compatriot decided to leave his training camp and returned to Ukraine.

British boxer Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) spoke ironically about the cancellation of the Usyk-Fury fight. He also made a statement about the possibility of holding a third fight against the Ukrainian.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, on March 29, Oleksandr Usyk was spotted in the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, which is to be left by the monks of the Moscow Patriarchate. The boxer's wife Kateryna categorically commented on the situation.
