Undefeated Ryan Garcia gives confident forecast for Lomachenko vs Haynie fight
Undefeated American lightweight boxer Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) on the eve of his fight against fellow countryman Gervonta Davis (28-0, 26 KOs) spoke about the winner of another mega-fight: Lomachenko - Haynie. According to the 24-year-old Californian, the Ukrainian has little chance.
Describing his plans, Garcia admitted that if he wins over Gervonta, he will be preparing for a fight against Haynie, because he does not believe in Lomachenko at all.
"Do I think Davis will beat Lomachenko? Yes, I do. I'm sure it will happen. And then we'll make it happen," Garcia said on the SecondOut YouTube channel.
Garcia will box against Davis on April 22, while Haynie will fight Lomachenko on May 20.
