"This is the fight of the century": Fury unexpectedly wished Usyk good luck

British boxer Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) unexpectedly changed his rhetoric in his addresses to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) on the eve of the fight for the world heavyweight title. He wished our compatriot a successful training camp and called the fight against him the biggest in the history of British boxing.

Fury posted the video on his Instagram page. At the same time, he called his latest insulting remarks and various demands a terror to Usyk and his team and announced that he would not be taking social media personally for the duration of his preparations for the fight.

"As much fun as I've had terrorising Usyk and his team over the past few days, I'm going to dive into training camp. As always, I'm going to disconnect from social media. My people will keep you updated on my preparations and how things are going. Undoubtedly, April 29 is the working date, I will see you all that night... It's the biggest event in British boxing history, the fight of the century... Two undefeated world heavyweight champions go at each other to see who is No. 1 in the division. The title of absolute world champion is on the line. Peace to all, good preparation to Usyk and may the best man win," Fury said.

As a reminder, Tyson offered Ukrainian Usyk to remove the rematch clause from the contract for the fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion. The Gypsy King, as the Manchester native is known, called it raising the stakes.

Usyk agreed to Fury's ultimatum, making a pro-Ukrainian demand that angered the Russians. And the Briton showed the consequences of deciding to sign a contract for the fight.

In addition, a computer game was used to show how the Usyk-Fury fight would end. The Ukrainian hinted at a fight against the Briton on social media, after which Russians began to massively wish our boxer defeat.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Tyson Fury's promoter Frank Warren has put an end to the controversy surrounding his client's fight with Oleksandr Usyk.
