Froch speaks about the Usyk-Fury fight
Former world middleweight champion Carl Froch of the United Kingdom expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and his compatriot Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) could not agree on a historic heavyweight fight. Froch said this on his YouTube show Froch on Fighting. The Briton noted that if both opponents want to take part in the fight, it will undoubtedly take place, but if the fight is cancelled for any reason, it will be a real shame for boxing and the whole sport.
"I'm sure Fury wants this fight. He's confident that he'll get in the ring and beat anyone. Usyk is a dangerous, special fighter with great technique, but he's not big enough. I don't know why this fight hasn't been announced yet. When fights like this don't happen, it's a big disappointment for the fans. I hope it will take place soon. Fury vs Usyk - this fight has to happen. It's a unification fight, Usyk took all the belts from Anthony Joshua, beating him twice, and Tyson Fury is the best heavyweight in the world for me. It would be such a shame if this fight doesn't happen, so I hope it does," Froch said.
