"There is no shortage of clothes": Zelenskyy explains how he got 20 similar khaki T-shirts
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has answered the question of how he got so many khaki T-shirts, which he wears every time he appears in interviews, addresses and meetings during a full-scale war. A German journalist interviewed by the head of state noted that the politician seemed to wear the same clothes every time he spoke to her.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy was amused by this assumption, so he hastened to assure her that he wears different wardrobe items that are simply similar to each other. This was the last question asked by the ZDFheute Nachrichten journalist, whose interview appeared on YouTube (scroll to the bottom of the page to see photos and video).
The President of Ukraine revealed that at the beginning of the full-scale war, he really only had two "military" T-shirts and a warm fleece jacket.
"I have a lot of them. About 20 of them. Do you know why? I had two T-shirts at the beginning of the war and a fleece. I later sold it at an auction in London," Volodymyr Zelenskyy began.
The military and Ukrainian designers took care of the head of state's wardrobe and started sending him khaki clothes for free.
"Then the military saw it and started passing it to me. From one brigade and another. Then our Ukrainian manufacturers and fashion designers started. Everyone wanted me to wear their T-shirt," the journalist's source recalled.
Since then, the Head of State has acquired several dozen almost identical T-shirts, which he wears during important meetings and negotiations, communicating with Ukrainians and journalists. "I have no shortage of clothes," Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured.
Earlier, OBOZREVATEL wrote that the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska was invited to the legendary American show Good Morning America on ABC TV channel. During the interview, the wife of the Ukrainian president appeared in an exquisite jacket with gold embroidery.
