"It's like a nightmare": ex-world champion criticises Fury over fight with Usyk, sympathises with Ukrainian
Froch criticised Tyson

Former world middleweight champion Carl Froch accused British boxer Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) of not signing a contract to fight Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), which threatens to disrupt the fight for the world title. The ex-boxer called the situation around the organisation of the show terrible and expressed doubts that the parties would be able to reach an agreement.

Froch said this on his YouTube show Froch on Fighting. He also sympathised with Usyk because, due to Fury's behaviour, he still doesn't know whether the fight will take place at all and whether it will be organised on April 29, as planned by the promoters.

"I think the fight will take place, but my biggest concern is that there are only six weeks left. There is very little time left before the world title fight. But if it doesn't happen now, it will be Tyson Fury's fault, and I think it looks terrible for him. He said that he would fight Joshua for free and give the money to charity. And suddenly negotiations with Usyk start, and he demands 70% of the fee. He's a walking contradiction. It's like a nightmare, because you really don't know if you're going to get to fight," Froch said.

The day before, Usyk's manager Egis Klimas spoke harshly about Fury because he was delaying the negotiations. Alexander himself also made a statement about the fight, noting that the ball is now in Tyson's court.

Earlier, Usyk agreed to Fury's ultimatum, making a pro-Ukrainian demand that angered the Russians. And the Briton showed the consequences of his decision to sign a contract for the fight.
