A special commission of the Ministry of Culture has finished its work on the territory of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. In general, the experts checked and returned to the state ownership of 79 objects.
About this in his Telegram-channel reported the Minister of culture and information policy Alexander Tkachenko. Now UOC MP must within 3 workers to vacate all objects of the Reserve and stop using them.
"Yesterday, June 5, 2023, the ICIP commission on the acceptance-transfer of the state property of Lavra completed its work. But it signed with the Reserve the act of acceptance-transfer of state property of the National Reserve "Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra", which confirmed the transfer of state property for use of the Reserve" - said Tkachenko.
The Minister said that in total, the committee checked and returned to the state ownership of 79 objects. All in different states. In particular, the UOC-MP allowed unauthorized reconstruction, completion, redevelopment of monuments of cultural heritage and construction of new buildings on the territory of the reserve.

"We will still deal with all this. Now, after the Reserve has sent a demand to the UOC-MP to immediately release, stop using and return to the Reserve its property, the latter must do so within 3 working days from the date of their receipt", - stressed Tkachenko.
If the Moscow Patriarchate refuses to do so, the court will consider the issue. According to the minister, on Tuesday, June 6, the representatives of the Monastery refused to accept the act of acceptance of the state property. The reserve sent all documents by mail and electronically.
