A beetroot dessert that both adults and children will enjoy? It sounds incredible, but it's actually a reality.
A food blogger with the nickname tanya.perchik told us how to make a beetroot dessert when you're tired of salty dishes. On her Instagram, she provided a detailed description of the entire cooking process.
Ingredients:
- Baked or boiled beetroot – 300 g
- Flax seeds – 50 gr
- Oatmeal – 50 g
- Coconut flakes
- Honey or sweetener – 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon – 1/3 tsp.
- Vanilla extract
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the beets and place them in a deep bowl.
2. Add oatmeal, flax seeds, coconut and sweetener. Mix thoroughly.
3. Blend the resulting mass with a blender until completely homogeneous.
4. Cover the baking dish with parchment and put the mixture on it.
5. The thickness of the cake should be no more than 4-5 cm.
6. Put the mold in the oven preheated to 170 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
7. Take the cake out of the mold, brush it with honey, and sprinkle with coconut.
