It's no secret that Hector Jimenez-Bravo is perhaps the most famous chef in Ukraine. His recipes are always popular because the dishes prepared according to them are nutritious, with a balanced taste, budget-friendly, and, of course, delicious.
And recently, on Instagram, Hector shared another of his recipes that absolutely everyone should try. It's a recipe for cheesy potatoes. This incredible dish is for lovers of the combination of potato and mozzarella cheese flavors. This dish is easy to prepare, fast, and without the addition of expensive ingredients. And you can even make it with yesterday's potatoes.
Ingredients
- Boiled potatoes - 400 gr
- Mozzarella cheese - 50 gr
- Salt - 3 gr
- Starch - 30 g
- Sugar - 5 g
- Oil for frying
Method of preparation
1. Squeeze the potatoes through a press. Add salt, sugar, starch.
2. Knead the dough and divide it into 4 parts.
3. Form balls, make them into cakes and put the cheese inside.
4. Shape the cottage cheese patties into pucks and fry in vegetable oil on both sides.
