Stewed potatoes with chicken: how to cook a delicious dish for lunch

Stewed potatoes are a delicious and satisfying potato dish that can be prepared quickly and with affordable ingredients. It can be cooked with mushrooms or meat, as well as with vegetables.
Food blogger Oksana Bilinska (oxana_bil) shared a recipe for stewed potatoes with meat and vegetables on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 1 kg
- chicken fillet - 2 pieces
- onion - 1 pc
- carrots - 1 pc
- garlic - 3-4 cloves
- water - 500-700 ml
- tomato paste - 1 tbsp
- salt, pepper, bay leaves, black peppercorns and allspice
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the potatoes into cubes, onion - half rings, carrots grate, mash the garlic with a knife.
2. Cut the fillet, season with salt and pepper.
3. In a saucepan fry the meat first, then add the onions and fry together for 5-7 minutes.
4. Add the carrots and fry for another 5 minutes.
5. Add the garlic and potatoes.
6. Mix water with tomato paste and add salt. Pour the sauce over the potatoes.
7. Put the bay leaves, black and allspice on top, cover and simmer until the potatoes are tender - about 35-40 minutes.
