How to cook tender beef goulash: for mashed potatoes, cereals and pasta
Goulash is a delicious dish made from meat - beef, pork, or veal - in a thick gravy with spices. It is quite simple and affordable to prepare, as well as versatile, as goulash can be eaten with porridge, pasta, and even mashed potatoes.
Food blogger Tetiana Sheremet (tania_sheremet) shared a recipe for beef goulash on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- beef - 1 kg
- flour - 3 tbsp
- ground paprika - 0.5 tsp.
- onions - 2 pcs
- carrots - 1 pc
- ground black pepper
- tomato sauce - 200 ml
- water - 200 ml
- cream 15-20% - 50 ml
- parsley - a bunch
Method of preparation:
1. In a bowl, mix the flour, paprika, black pepper. Stir well.
2. Cut the meat into cubes, add to the flour. Mix well.
3. Pour oil into a preheated frying pan, put the meat, add salt and pepper. Fry until golden brown.
4. Cut the onion into large cubes, garlic into large pieces, carrots into small cubes. Add to the meat.
5. Then immediately add tomato sauce and water. Cover and cook over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
6. Add chopped parsley and cream at the end.
