Easy Shawarma salad in 15 minutes: a recipe for an original dish for a snack
Traditional shawarma doesn't have to be wrapped in pita bread; you can make a juicy and savory salad with the necessary ingredients. The dish is based on fillet, vegetables, and sauce. The salad is very easy to prepare and the whole process takes only 15 minutes.
One of the culinary blogs (vistovska_cooking) published a recipe for a delicious Shawarma salad on Instagram, which is perfect for a snack.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 1 pc
- pita bread - 1 pc
- cucumber - 1 pc
- tomatoes - 1 pc
- Korean carrots - 2-3 tbsp.
- lettuce leaves
Sauce:
- sour cream - 1 tbsp. l.
- mayonnaise - 1 tbsp
- mustard - 1 tsp.
- garlic - 1 clove
- ground pepper
Method of preparation:
1. First, cut the fillet, marinate in spices and fry until golden brown.
2. Cut the pita bread into medium squares and lightly dry in a frying pan.
3. Chop the tomato randomly, cut the cucumber into strips.
4. Put the fried chicken, cucumber and tomato, lettuce and carrots on a plate.
5. Mix the necessary ingredients for the sauce and season the salad. Enjoy your meal!
