A quick pita bread snack to go: 10 minutes and the dish is ready
In the modern world, people often don't have enough time to cook. That is why various fast foods have become so popular. However, there are a lot of recipes that can be prepared in just a few minutes and serve nutritious and homemade food.
One of these recipes was shared on Instagram by a food blogger named cook_julija_simonchuk. She shared how to prepare a quick meal in just 10 minutes that can serve as breakfast, snack, and even lunch.
Ingredients
- Pita bread - 1 piece
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
- Cheese - 200 g
- Sausage - 150 g
- Tomato - 1 pc.
- Salt
- Pepper
- Butter - 5 g
The method of preparation
1. Cut out a circle from the pita bread, the diameter of which should match the diameter of the pan.
2. Beat eggs with salt and pepper.
3. Grease the frying pan with oil. Pour half of the egg mixture into the pan.
4. Put the pita bread on the egg mixture, then put the sausage on top and sprinkle with cheese.
5. Next, put the pita bread again, then the tomatoes in rings.
6. The next layer is pita bread and sausage and cheese again.
7. Cover the last layer with the remaining egg mass, cover with a lid, and set the heat to moderate.
8. Fry on each side for about 5 minutes so that the cheese spreads well.
