A recipe for a perfect breakfast option that even kids will love
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It sets the mood and tone for the day and gives you the energy to be productive.
Recently, a food blogger with the nickname healthydemure shared her own interesting breakfast option on Instagram. It's tasty, nutritious, and healthy, and it's made from affordable ingredients. It is a rice milk porridge combined with a cottage cheese casserole with banana.
Ingredients for rice porridge for 2-3 servings
- rice - 100 g
- milk - 400 ml
- water - 200 ml
- sugar - 1 tbsp
- butter - 20 g
- salt - a pinch
- vanilla - a pinch
Method of preparation
1. Combine milk and water. Add a pinch of salt and vanilla.
2. When the mixture begins to boil, add rice, stir and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
4. Add butter at the end.
Ingredients for the cottage cheese casserole:
- cottage cheese - 400-500 g
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- semolina - 2 tbsp
- honey - 2 tsp
- vanilla - a pinch
Method of preparation.
1. Mix all ingredients in a separate bowl until smooth.
2. If the cottage cheese is too grainy, you can whip the mixture with a blender and leave it for 30 minutes so that semolina swell.
3. Pour the batter into the mold and put it in the oven for 30-35 minutes at 180 degrees with convection mode on.
4. When serving, add sour cream and banana.
