President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with American actor Matthew McConaughey, his wife Camila Alves, and Utah First Lady Abby Cox in the United States. They discussed the war in Ukraine.

The politician invited the world-famous star to support the UNITED24 fundraising platform. This was reported on the website of the President of Ukraine.

"Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of maintaining attention to Ukraine and thanked the American stars for their efforts and support. The President spoke about the situation on the battlefield and in our communities, in particular in Kharkiv, which is under constant Russian shelling," the report says.

The Ukrainian leader also emphasized that a just peace can only be achieved by following the Ukrainian vision, which is based on the Peace Formula.

It is worth noting that until now, the actor has not outlined his political position or covered the topic of war on social media.

It is not yet known what decision McConaughey made to support Ukraine in the public sphere, namely regarding the cooperation with UNITED24. The meeting is not mentioned in his blog either.
