Zelenskyy admits whether he plans to spend Christmas and New Year with his family
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has admitted whether he will celebrate New Year's holidays and Christmas with his family: his wife Olena and children Oleksandra and Kyrylo. He has prioritized his work on ending the war with Russia as his most important duty, and his family has taken a back seat.
So far, the issue of celebrating important winter dates is still in limbo for the President of Ukraine. However, according to him, if there is an opportunity to spend them with his family, he will definitely do so. These statements were made in an interview with Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the French newspaper Le Parisien.
"As for the New Year's holidays and Christmas, I don't know. If there is an opportunity, I will gladly spend time with them, if there is no opportunity, then next time. No one is giving up because of this. We have one country, and there will be many more holidays ahead, so I'm fine with it," the President said with a smile on his face.
According to him, the most important thing is just to spend time with your family, and this moment does not necessarily have to be on a holiday. However, his priority is still to end the war so that all military personnel can celebrate the New Year holidays with their loved ones.

"I am sure that in any case, we deserve to end the war, to have a sustainable peace. I am sure that we will definitely do it. Then there will be time, and we will be together; there will be time for all these pleasant moments. What is a holiday? This is also what you understand during the war – the question is not what day, but who you are with on a given day. This is what a holiday is – being with those you love," Volodymyr Zelenskyy added.
At the same time, he claims that it is his family that "keeps him afloat" and motivates him to work: "All this gives me strength, so whenever I have the opportunity, I do my best to spend some time with those who motivate me and charge me very much. But they tell me that I also motivate and energize them very much. So it's in the best interest of our family."
