Zelensky did this for the first time: Iryna Bilyk talks about the president's act that impressed her
Ukrainian singer Iryna Bilyk spoke about the act of President Volodymyr Zelensky, after which she began to respect him even more. It happened in May 2021 at one of the artist's concerts.
At the time, the singer was celebrating her 50th birthday. In honor of this, the head of state and the first lady attended the concert, Iryna Bilyk told Nashe Radio.
During the performance of the song "You Are Mine," Volodymyr Zelensky stood up from his seat and brought a large bouquet of flowers to the stage. The artist was impressed and gladly accepted the gift. Iryna Bilyk noted that she was the only singer whose concert was attended by the President.
"It was a concert at the Ukraine Palace, and when I was standing on stage, he handed me a bouquet and said: "Iryna, you are our love," she said. After that, the artist's respect for Zelensky grew, as he showed that her work was worthy of a visit from the president and his wife.
Iryna Bilyk shared photos of the same moment on her Instagram page. "I'm just fascinated by the President's bright, shining, and kind gaze! I hope that my music will give him and his team new strength to work productively for the good of Ukraine!" she wrote.
