Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed his secret to keeping fit
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy goes in for sports or basic exercises regularly to overcome laziness and keep fit. He usually tries to move more before going to bed or after waking up.
The Ukrainian leader also joked that eating cake at his age is more dangerous than before, so he limits himself to sweets. Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with a German journalist published on the YouTube channel of the Presidential Office.
"To be honest, I'm still trying to take care of myself and do a little bit of exercise, sports," the President of Ukraine said.
He allocates 40 to 60 minutes a day for sports activities. Wherever Volodymyr Zelenskyy is staying, he tries to find an opportunity to work out regularly.
"I try to have 40 minutes - one hour maximum - for any kind of movement. To tell you frankly, I don't have the opportunity to just walk around, so I have a large set anywhere. Even here I can do it. The only thing that matters is to overcome laziness in the morning or late at night when you go from one office to another office," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
Before the full-scale invasion, the president used to address Ukrainians from the gym almost every day. Now he has much less time to train, so he doesn't take motivational photos.
