Is a large family a career hindrance? Not for these celebrities with many children! Raising children is a difficult job, and many people believe that one or two children is the limit of their capabilities. However, there are those who did not stop even at three.

OBOZ.UA decided to share a selection of not just Ukrainian celebrity parents with many children, but those who are raising four or more children.

Vasyl Virastiuk

The politician and athlete recently admitted that he already has four sons. The youngest, Volodymyr, is 9 months old. From his previous marriages, he is raising three more heirs – 20-year-old Adam, 16-year-old Oleh, and 8-year-old Oleksandr. Today, the holder of the title "The Strongest Man in the World" is building a new relationship and divorcing his wife, whom he betrayed.

Oleksandr Usyk

Another world-famous Ukrainian athlete, Oleksandr Usyk, boasts a similarly large family, with the only difference being that the boxer is raising two sons and two daughters. In January 2024, his family was replenished with the youngest girl, named Maria.

The couple's older children – daughters Yelyzaveta (born in 2010), Kyrylo (born in 2013), and two years younger Mykhailo – are as happy about the birth of another sister as their parents.

Oleg Skrypka

Another famous father of many children is the musician and frontman of the Vopli Vidoplyasova band Oleh Skrypka. Together with his wife of 27 years, the singer also has four children: sons Roman and Ustym (born in 2005 and 2008) and daughters Olesia and Zoryana (born in 2010 and 2012, respectively).

Yehor Soboliev

A well-known politician and serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yegor Sobolev, in addition to his three children with his wife Marichka Padalko – son Mykhailo (born in 2007) and daughters Maria and Kateryna (born in 2008 and 2010) – has an older daughter from his previous marriage, whom he hardly ever shows. The girl's name is Alisa. She was born in 2002 and looks very much like her father.

Now let's talk about celebrity mothers who are raising children and continue to be active in their careers. We're talking about TV host Valentyna Khamaiko and journalist Halyna Serhiieva.

Valentyna Khamaiko

The Ukrainian actress and TV presenter, together with her husband, the vice president of the Ukrainian Triathlon Federation, and defender Andrii Onistrat, are raising four children together: daughters Solomiia and Myroslava and sons Mykhailo and Andrii.

Halyna Sergeeva

A journalist from Dnipro who has been working for the Finnish state broadcaster Yle for more than five years, where she prepares news in Ukrainian and writes about the war in Ukraine, recently shared her happy news on her Facebook page: she became a mother for the fifth time!

"I'll tell you, giving birth to the fifth child is as emotionally taxing as the first and all the others," Halyna Serhieieva admitted. The boy was named Robert. The journalist is also raising three-year-old twin boys, Pavlp and Hryhoriy, and older children from her first marriage, Olha and Artem.
