Turkish singer dedicated the song to Valerii Zaluzhnyi, but sang it in the voice of a woman
Turkish singer Ozan Dayi, who has lived in Ukraine for many years, dedicated a powerful song to the former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valerii Zaluzhnyi . The musician wrote the lyrics in Turkish and then translated them into Ukrainian.
Interestingly, when arranging the song, Dayi used artificial intelligence to make his voice sound female. In a commentary to Ukrinform, he explained why he decided to resort to such a trick.
"I have lived in Ukraine for a long time and I can say that I do not know a society where women would be so hardworking, carry such a load and be present in all spheres. Women occupy a special place in Ukrainian society, so I had the idea to make experimental vocals with a female voice," the performer said.
As for the song itself, Ozan sang about how fearless, courageous, and unbreakable the Ukrainian general is, and how all these traits inspired other soldiers to defend their homeland. "The name of Zaluzhnyi has become a legend," a Turkish singer sang in a female voice.
"Since taking office in 2021, General Zaluzhnyi has been fighting with all his might for the security and interests of his country, and when active war broke out in 2022, he continued to defend it without a single break, not even for a day. And his self-sacrifice cannot be described in words. So, as a person who lived in Ukraine and supports Ukraine, I wanted to express my gratitude to him with this song," commented Dayi.

It should be noted that Ozan Dayi is a true patriot of Ukraine. Currently, he is in his home country, Turkey, but continues to support Ukraine, including charity concerts in Istanbul and other cities. The man regularly posts pictures of himself wearing an embroidered shirt or holding blue and yellow flags. In addition, he recently completed his military service in the Turkish Armed Forces.
