Today, on 24 August, Milan said goodbye to Italian singer Toto Cutugno, who died at the age of 80 two days ago. Thousands of fans, family friends and the press came to pay their last respects to the world-famous star.
When the coffin was brought to the church of Santi Nereo ed Achilleo, the crowd burst into applause and played the star's most famous hit, L'italiano. Everyone who knew the artist approached the deceased's relatives, after which his body was brought into the church.
