Syvokho's close friend told how he was looking for doctors for Nina Matvienko before his death

A few weeks before the death of showman Serhii Syvokho, radio host Anna Svyrydova asked him to help with medical treatment for the legendary singer Nina Matvienko. Syvokho did not refuse, but he preferred to keep silent about his health problems.
Anna Svyrydova told OBOZ.UA about this during the farewell to the artist, which took place in the capital's Zhovtnevyi Palace on November 3. Ironically, Syvokho passed away nine days after Matvienko's death: Nina passed away on October 8, and Serhii on October 17.
"A few weeks before he died, I called him and told him: "Nina Matvienko is not well, can you tell me where to go to see a doctor?" recalls TV presenter Anna Svyrydova. I passed on this information. So as always, he said: everything is fine. I didn't even feel in his voice that maybe there was something wrong with his health."
"I knew, like everyone else, that he had been ill for many years. It was all happening right in front of our eyes," Sviridova adds. "His wife Tania is a very strong woman. Thanks to her, he has survived for so many years. They have a very strong family. She was behind him like a stone wall, and he was behind her."
Serhii Syvokho and Anna Svyrydova have been friends for many years. They also worked together at Friday Radio. "Serhiy was a very cool friend - this is probably the feature of him that stood out to me during the years we worked together," says Anna. "He was a guest star on Friday Radio, and he was brilliant in his broadcasts. Behind the scenes, he always treated everyone in the team very well, wished them happy birthdays, and came to visit us just for fun."
On the radio, showman Serhii Syvokho hosted his own show, "Who Came to Syvokho?", where he invited celebrity guests. For two hours, he would talk to the star, joke, talk about life, and ask tricky questions.
Syvokho died at the age of 55 in Germany from the effects of chronic lung disease. Serhii went to foreign doctors for a consultation. The artist was hospitalized, and a week later he passed away.
OBOZ.UA also wrote that Serhiy Syvokho's mother and wife explained why they decided to bury him in Donetsk.
