Still married but living apart: what is happening in the family of Potap and Nastia Kamenskykh

For a long time, rumors have been circulating online that the marriage of Potap and Nastia Kamenskykh has cracked. The celebrity couple has been living apart for quite some time, as the singer returned to Ukraine and the producer is building a career abroad. However, the couple constantly refutes all assumptions about their breakup and even claims that their relationship is only getting stronger over time.

During a recent interview with the Estonian Russian-language portal Limon.ee, the 43-year-old producer said he is currently trying to develop his new project Slavic Balagan, so he lives in five countries: Spain, Ukraine, the UK, Florida, and the UAE. In addition, he actively organizes various music tours and does not take his beloved with him only because they have long ceased to exist as a duo.

"Well, Nastia and I finished singing together more than seven years ago. Here in Tallinn, I'm on my Greatest Hits tour. These are songs I've written over 20 years for various projects: "Potap and Nastya," "Time and Glass," "Mozgi," and, of course, I presented a new project called Slavic Balagan," the producer said.

While Potap entertains audiences outside his homeland, Nastia Kamenskykh has been living in Ukraine for a long time. The artist began to share content about her life quite actively, and recently even resumed her video blog, which she previously ran on YouTube. Now the celebrity has slightly modified the format of the videos and shares them on her Instagram page. Kamenskykh shows her followers the details of her everyday life in Ukraine.

It seems that the celebrity couple will not be able to meet again in their homeland so soon. The fact is that the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine is temporarily suspending the issuance of letters of assistance for artists and media professionals to travel abroad as of March 3, 2025. Earlier, Potap said that he returns to his home country from time to time because he has official permission from the necessary organizations to cross the border, but now the situation will change somewhat. This move by the Ministry of Culture, by the way, sparked great resentment from the performer: "Ukrainian artists in the international arena support the state, support the president, raise hundreds of millions of hryvnias for the Armed Forces, and the Ministry of Culture, instead of helping, crosses it all out!"

But during his recent interview with Russian "journalist" Yuri Dud, Potap said that despite the distance and the fact that the couple does not appear together in public, their love did not crack after February 24, 2022, but only became stronger.

"People perceive us as characters from comic books. They expect some dramatic events and situations from us. Reality shows. But the war has shown that personal relationships are catalyzed either in one direction or the other: either couples break up or vice versa – they become stronger. For us, it worked positively. We've been together for a long time, we're looking in the same direction, so everything is fine," the artist shared.

Moreover, Potap even noted that he wants him and Nastia Kamenskykh to have 4 heirs. He said: "We want children. We are working on it, we like the process. Pregnancy never hurts anyone. First of all, you can never be ready for it and you will never be ready. Secondly, pregnancy is always perceived as a burden, but it almost always works differently."

However, journalist Nataliia Tur noticed one nuance in the post.

"She presented this photo as a new one, but the photo is very old. This may indicate that they have not seen each other for a very long time, and they have no new photos together. They are just separated, and still trying to pretend to the public that they are together," the media person said.
