Smiling and in an elegant look: Kate Middleton appeared in public with daughter Charlotte. Photo

Kate Middleton appeared in public for the second time after the news of her fight against cancer

This is the second time Kate Middleton has made a public appearance since the news of her cancer battle. She attended the men's Wimbledon 2024 final specifically to hand over the award to the winner. The princess took her 9-year-old daughter Charlotte and younger sister Pippa with her.

The future Queen Consort was smiling throughout the competition. She was greeted by the audience with a standing ovation. Kate Middleton announced her attendance at the event on social network X.

"It's great to be back at Wimbledon! Nothing beats the Championships," she wrote. The Spanish reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz and veteran Novak Djokovic are competing for the prize.

According to the Daily Mail, they met with tennis stars, including 21-year-old Emma Raducanu, before taking their seats in the Royal Box. The princess looked happy. She wore a fuchsia A-line dress with pleats in the chest area. She wore a bow with a purple stripe on her left side. Recently, Kate Middleton has started to favor this small but cute accessory.

She completed her look with golden chunky hoop earrings and a nail bracelet. Her Highness chose pointed toe heels and a bag to match the jewelry.

Princess Charlotte, 9, wore an above-the-knee polka-dot dress with flounces on the hem and sleeves. Two strands of her hair were delicately braided and gathered at the nape of her neck with a bow.

Sky News writes that Kate Middleton has been a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club since 2016, so she could hardly miss an important event for herself. The princess arrived at the championship less than an hour before the start of the final.

Her Highness did not come in the company of Prince William and her two other children, George and Louis. The man went to the Euro 2024 championship, which is scheduled to take place on the same day in the evening, and therefore probably took his eldest son with him.

The footage shows that world stars also gathered in the Royal Box to watch the match: actors Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts, London Mayor Sadiq Khan and former American tennis professional Andre Agassi.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that Kensington Palace recorded positive changes in Kate Middleton's fight against cancer during the first month of summer. She is feeling much better, although sometimes she has difficult days.
